Widely varying amounts of land can be bought for the same amount of money, this is because different areas obviously are different prices, also since they are bought in different countries, there may be a more/less favourable currency conversion. Sites donating to the Nature Conservancy's Adopt An Acre program pay a standardised amount of $75 per acre, this may include costs other than the actual purchase ('help protect').
